Introducing the Poplar Mobile App for Owners: Your trusted property manager in your pocket

Today we’re over the moon to be releasing our Poplar mobile app!

It's now available for owners to download on their iPhone or Android phones.

We know you’ve been looking forward to this—and now you can finally use it!

How to use the Poplar Mobile App

  1. Go to your App Store or Google Play Store.

  2. Search for Poplar Homes for Owners and click download.

  3. Log in with the same username and password you use to log in to the Poplar web app.

  4. Start exploring your Poplar mobile app!

What we have for you

Enjoy these property management tools in the convenience of your phone:


Your Homepage is just like your newsfeed. This is where you can see an overview of all your real estate investments' activities.

We know how much you want to be on top of your finances. That's why as soon as you log in, you’ll instantly see a report of your earnings, expenses, and monthly rent collected.

You’ll also see a summary of your properties' transactions, the latest work orders, and your property occupancy percentage.

To see real-time updates about your owner distribution, work orders, property inspections and lease renewals, simply drag the Activity Timeline upwards.


At the top right corner, you can tap on the bubble speech icon to send us a message.

You can ask us important questions about your properties such as your incoming rent, expiring lease, or pending work orders.

To get answers fast, tap any of the icons at the top of Messages and a list of relevant FAQs will show up.


We designed the Maintenance page with your convenience in mind, so you can easily track your work orders. By installing the Poplar mobile app, you'll receive push notifications on new, pending, and closed work orders.

You can easily view closed and open work orders by tapping the filter icon at the top right corner. To see a Work Order’s details, simply tap on its card to see more information, line items, and the Total Estimated Cost.

Own more than one home? You can also filter the list of work orders by property.

And if you have a Work Order-related concern, just tap Messages beside the Line Item to ask us a question. We will also notify you if a Poplar agent has responded to a work order concern from your residents.


Need a quick overview of your finances? Just open your Transactions page.

On this page, you can see your remaining Portfolio Balance, Rent Income, Bills Due, and Expenses paid. Say goodbye to complicated spreadsheets!

You can also filter this page by property if you own more than one.


Want a quick view of your growing portfolio? We got you.

In Properties, you can view a list of all the properties that Poplar manages for you. Each tab displays a status label if it’s vacant, leasing, or occupied.

Tap a property card to view crucial information such as the monthly rent and security deposit. Soon, we will also display your property’s lease details, HOA information, and utility responsibilities.


Finally, you can view and download important documents in Files.

For now, you can only download your monthly and mid-month statements, as well as necessary Tax Documents like Form 1099. But rest assured that you can get copies of other important documents here in the near future.

We'll make sure to update you once you can download more types of files!
